Adults aren’t the only ones who can benefit from Invisalign® treatment. In fact, Align Technology has two different treatments made specifically for teens and children.

How does Invisalign^® for teens work?

Invisalign® treatment for teens works the same way as Invisalign® for adults – with one difference. Teen aligners are made with blue wear indicators to help teens remember to wear their aligners for the recommended 22 hours a day.

Invisalign® treatment is great for teens because the custom aligners are removable. This means teens don’t need to change their diet, oral hygiene routine or after-school schedule during treatment.

Invisalign^® First for small smiles

There is an Invisalign^® treatment called Invisalign^® First that is made especially for children ages 7-10. The aligners are specially made to guide proper jaw growth and make room for all the incoming teeth. This early interception can reduce the need for treatment in their teen years.
